I can assure you that doing it this way saves other issues of that type coming up in the future. Airbus X repaints cannot be installed using the Livery Manager but have to be installed using. The A320/321 is different because there are three versions, namely the Airbus X released in 2010, the Airbus X Extended from 2012 and the latest release A320/321 from 2014.
